Review Stage Overall Grade Disclosure Settings

Updated today

When you create a review that uses overall grades, you can use the [Stage Overall Grade Disclosure Settings] feature.

However, this feature cannot be configured during the review creation stage. You can set the disclosure option in [Edit Other Settings] after the review is fully created.

What Is the Review Stage Overall Grade?

When there are multiple reviewers in a single stage, such as a peer review, it refers to the average of the grades given by the reviewers to the reviewee.

For example, if reviewers Kim Yuyeon, Choi Gojeong, and Hong Gildong gave grades A, A, and C to employee Choi Hana, then Choi Hana receives a B in the peer review.

The stage overall grade is calculated as follows. However, the score conversion method varies depending on the grading scale used in the review.

  • Reviewee: Choi Hana

  • Reviewers: Kim Yuyeon (A, 80 points), Choi Gojeong (A, 80 points), Hong Gildong (C, 40 points)

  • Calculation: (80+80+40)/3 = 66 points => Calculated as B

  • If a reviewer has not submitted their review, that reviewer is excluded from the calculation. If all reviewers have not submitted their reviews, the stage overall grade is also calculated as [No Grade].

Review Stage Overall Grade Disclosure Settings

  • Click on the closed review, click the three dots at the top right -> Click [Sharing Settings].

  • Click the review stage you want to set [Stage Overall Grade Disclosure] for, then enable it.

  • If you disclose only the stage overall grade without disclosing individual reviewer grades as shown above, the individual grades given by reviewers cannot be viewed, and only the fact that the employee received a B in the peer review can be disclosed.

Verifying Stage Overall Grade Sharing

  • Review administrators can click on a reviewee in a closed review to see the overall grade by stage and the individual reviewer grades.

  • When downloading the review results as Excel, administrators can check the overall grade by stage in the [Final Grade] sheet.

  • If only the stage overall grade is shared with result disclosure recipients, individual reviewer grades cannot be viewed as shown in the image, and only the fact that the employee received a B in the peer review can be shared.
