You can prepare a local income tax return and file it on Wetax. It automatically aggregates employment, retirement, business, and other income.
If you operate multiple workplaces, you can manage them per employee and download multiple local income tax special collection returns at once.
Before setting up the local tax return, if you have 2 or more workplaces, please refer to the Workplace Settings guide to set up workplaces and map employees to them!
Local Tax Filing (Local Income Tax Special Collection Return)
Go to [Payroll] → [Tax] → [Local Income Tax Filing] tab and click [Create Return] in the upper right.
If you have 2 or more workplaces, you can select multiple workplaces at once to generate returns as shown in the image.
When selecting the attribution month and payment month, the settlements needed for local income tax filing are automatically loaded. You can also click the settlements tab to manually select specific settlements.
Verify the income tax and local income tax amounts per workplace. If corrections are needed, you can enter values directly.
Click [Complete] in the upper right → click [Download Filing File] to download the Excel bulk filing file. File the Excel bulk filing file on Wetax.
Click the Excel button in the upper right to download the local income tax return base data file.
Click the three-dot button to change the return status back to "in progress" and modify the details.

Local income tax special collection filing does not currently support the electronic media file format.
Support for electronic media file format is planned for a future update.
The number of employment income earners shown in the local income tax return differs from the actual payroll settlement headcount for that month.

If there is a difference between the employment income headcount in the local income tax return and the actual payroll settlement headcount, employees not shown in the return may actually have 0 won in local income tax. Since there is no local income tax to file, those employees are excluded from the filing headcount.
