When an employee has resigned and the mid-term income tax settlement has been completed, but additional income or deduction items need to be reflected afterward, this feature is used to easily apply only the difference from the previous settlement to payroll without having to redo the entire settlement from scratch.
Re-settling Mid-Term Tax Settlement
Re-settlement can only be initiated for resigned employees who have a completed mid-term settlement on record.
If a settlement is still in progress and corrections are needed, please make changes within the ongoing mid-term settlement.
Mid-term settlement re-settlement is only available through the mid-term settlement process that is conducted together with payroll settlement.
For more details, please refer to the Mid-Term Settlement Guide (Year-End Tax Settlement for Mid-Year Resignees) .
In the [Summary * Target Settings] step of the mid-term settlement, members who already have a completed mid-term settlement will be set to [Excluded]. However, if they are set back to [Included], they become eligible for mid-term settlement re-settlement.
Once the re-settlement is complete, you can compare the results of the re-settlement and the previous settlement in the settlement results view.
The final computed amount, which is the difference between the re-settlement and the previous settlement, is reflected as the deduction amount in the actual payroll for that month.
Once the settlement is complete, you can view both the previous mid-term settlement and the re-settlement records in the Year-End Tax Settlement - Mid-Term Settlement - Status by Target menu.
If mid-term settlement has been processed multiple times, the most recent settlement is displayed at the top, and previous settlements are shown in the rows below.
For mid-term settlements processed within the mid-term settlement step of a payroll settlement, you can quickly navigate to the corresponding payroll settlement by hovering over "Linked".
