In this guide, you can learn how to select review elements (competency, performance, custom) that members will be reviewed on, and how to set up review stages such as whether to conduct only self-reviews or include downward reviews as well.
The calibration feature is scheduled to launch on January 8, 2026.
In [Select Review Elements], you can choose which review elements to evaluate in this review.
Competency: You can evaluate competencies such as common, leadership, and job function competencies that were previously added in competency management.
Performance: You can evaluate members' work performance in addition to competencies.
During performance reviews, members can link their [Goals] to select which goals to be reviewed on. Additionally, members can directly enter performance details beyond goals to be reviewed on those entries as well.
Custom: You can evaluate elements that the company considers important beyond competencies and performance.
For example, if your company considers [Attitude] as an important review element in addition to competencies and performance, you can use the custom review element to conduct attitude reviews.
Once you have finished selecting review elements, please select the review stages.
When conducting peer reviews, you can set the [Peer Designation Method].
Designator: You can choose whether peer reviewers are designated by 1. the review subject, 2. the organization head, or 3. the review administrator.
Number of Reviewers: You can select the minimum and maximum number of peers (up to 10) to conduct peer reviews.
Approval: When the peer reviewer designation method is set to [Designated by Review Subject], you can set it so that the reviewers designated by the review subject are confirmed through 'approval'.
When the review has 2 or more stages, or when downward reviews are set to 2 or more rounds, the [Evaluate by Different Stages per Competency Type] feature becomes available. When this setting is enabled, you can apply different review stages for each competency type being evaluated.
When the [Downward Review] stage is enabled, you can set the number of downward review rounds.
Downward review rounds can be set from 1st round up to a maximum of 10 rounds. For example, if only the 1st-level organization head's review is needed, you can set it to 1st round only, and if reviews from both 1st-level and 2nd-level organization heads are needed, you can set the downward review rounds to 2.
If any of the self, peer, upward, or downward review stages are enabled in the review stage selection, you can set whether to use [Calibration] in [Review Detail Settings].
For calibration, all review submissions must be closed before it can proceed in the review operation stage.
