Peer evaluation is the process where colleagues who work together evaluate each other's collaborative attitude and performance, providing feedback for growth. We will guide you through the entire flow of creating and operating peer evaluations in line with your company's performance management framework.
1. Creating an Evaluation
Step 1: Set Basic Information
Click [Evaluation] → [Create Evaluation] at the bottom of the left menu.
In [Basic Information], you can set the evaluation title, target period, and evaluation subjects.
Evaluation Title and Target Period: Set the evaluation title and the evaluation period that evaluators will assess.
Evaluation Subject Conditions: You can set the HR information reference date and evaluation subject conditions. For example, if you set the HR reference date to July 1, 2025, and select [Active] as the subject condition, members who were active as of July 1, 2025 will be pulled as evaluation subjects.
Co-editors: You can select members who can co-edit and manage this evaluation. Of course, users with the [Evaluation Management] permission have view/edit access to all evaluations regardless of whether they are included as co-editors.
Step 2: Set Evaluation Elements and Stages
In [Evaluation Elements and Selection], activate the elements that evaluation subjects will be assessed on.
In [Evaluation Stage Selection], activate peer evaluation.
Once peer evaluation is activated, you can set the peer designation method in [Evaluation Detail Settings].
There are three methods for designating evaluators.
Designated by evaluation subject: The evaluation subject (evaluatee) directly selects the peers who will evaluate them
Designated by team leader: The evaluatee's team leader designates the evaluators
Designated by evaluation manager (admin): The evaluation manager (admin) designates the evaluators
Number of evaluators: You can select the minimum and maximum number of peers (up to 10) for the peer evaluation.
Approval: If the peer evaluator designation method is set to [Designated by evaluation subject], you can configure the evaluators designated by the subject to be confirmed through an 'approval' process.
Step 3: Set Evaluation Structure
In the [Evaluation Structure] stage, you can configure evaluation subject groups and set evaluation elements by group or stage.
Clicking [Add Evaluation Group] allows you to add an evaluation group and set group-specific conditions (job type, organization, job title, etc.). You can then select evaluation elements to apply per group for each evaluation stage.
The default group includes all evaluation subjects by default. If certain job types or titles are evaluated differently, please create a separate evaluation group for them.
Step 4: Set Evaluation Items
In the [Evaluation Items] stage, you can configure the competency and performance items that peers will evaluate in more detail. You can also set weights per competency and performance element by activating [Enter Weights].
Step 5: Set Evaluation Forms per Stage
In [Evaluation Forms per Stage], you can configure the evaluation form for each evaluation stage set in Step 2.
You can also configure whether to use grades, the grade calculation method, and whether to use reference materials for each evaluation stage.
You can derive an overall evaluation grade using a matrix combination of competency and performance grades.
Step 6: Set Grade System
In the [Grade System] stage, you can configure the grade system and matrix grades to be used in this evaluation.
(e.g., Grade S = 90 points or above)If different grades are used for each evaluation element, please activate the option to use different grades per evaluation element.
If the overall grade is set to be derived via [Matrix Combination], you can configure the matrix table.
For detailed configuration instructions, please refer to the grade settings guide. [View detailed grade settings guide]
If the overall grade is calculated automatically, you can set the weight for each evaluation element.
2. Operating the Evaluation
Once you have created the evaluation, go to the left menu [Evaluation], select the evaluation you just created, and navigate to the evaluation operations screen!
Step 1: Prepare the Evaluation
On the evaluation operations home, complete the preparation settings for peer evaluation.
Evaluation Item Announcement: Set the period during which members can directly select the (optional) competencies or performance items they will be evaluated on.
Peer Evaluator Designation: Set the period during which members or team leaders designate evaluators.
If the admin is designating, they can do so directly at the evaluator stage.
In the [Evaluation Subjects] menu, evaluation subjects are automatically loaded based on the HR information reference date and subject conditions set earlier in the evaluation. After reviewing the list of evaluation subjects, if there are members who need to be removed, click the checkbox on the left and then click the [Delete] button at the bottom.
Alternatively, you can add subjects directly via [Add Subject] in the upper right.
In the [Evaluation Items] and [Evaluators] menus, you can check progress status. If needed, you can select members to send deadline reminders, change deadlines, or directly designate or change evaluators.
Once evaluation items and evaluator designations are complete, set the start/end date for peer evaluation from the home via Start Evaluation and Set Period to begin the evaluation.
Step 2: Conduct the Evaluation
In [Evaluation Progress] stage -> [Progress Status by Evaluation Subject], you can view in real time the evaluation content received by each evaluation subject from each evaluator, or check the evaluation completion rate.
You can also download the progress status as an Excel file by clicking the download icon in the upper right.
In [Progress Status by Evaluator], you can view evaluators' writing and submission rates by evaluation stage, as well as the content they have written.
You can also download the progress status as an Excel file by clicking the download icon in the upper right.
While checking evaluators' submission status in the [Progress Status by Evaluator] tab, you can click the checkbox to the left of an evaluator's name and use the [Send Deadline Reminder] feature to send a reminder notification. Alternatively, you can do this via the three-dot button on the right.
You can also click the [Change Deadline] button to extend the evaluation writing period for a specific evaluator.
If an overall extension of the evaluation writing period is needed, click the [Home] - [Extend Period] button to extend the evaluation writing period per evaluation stage.
You can also click the bell icon on the evaluation operations home to set deadline reminder notifications, and configure them to be sent to non-submitters as well as their primary team leader.
If all evaluators have completed their submissions before the evaluation deadline, you can click the [Close Writing] button in the [Home] - [Close Evaluation Writing] tab to close the evaluation before the deadline.
In the [Evaluation Results] tab, you can view evaluation results per evaluation subject. You can also click the [Download] button in the upper right to download the final grade results as an Excel file.
