flex's Goals and Reviews features have been updated to a new Goals and Evaluations feature!
Let's walk through how the existing Goals and Reviews features have changed, step by step :)
What's New in Goals?
Team Leads
Team leads who manage organizational goals can now clearly view and efficiently manage goals across the entire organization.
Get a clear overview of goals across multiple teams, and experience convenient goal management tailored to your organization's needs!
1. Clear Distinction Between Company, Team, and Individual Goals
Previously, there was no distinction between company/team goals and individual goals, making it impossible to manage situations where members connected goals in inappropriate structures.
Now, only team leads can create team goals, and team goals and individual goals are clearly separated.
Team leads can clearly define team goals and link members' individual goals underneath them, encouraging team members to focus on achieving the team's objectives.
When linking parent and child goals for a team goal, the system recommends the most relevant goals based on that team's information.
2. Flexible Goal Visibility Settings
Previously, it was not possible to freely configure the visibility of goals. If you wanted a goal visible only within your team, you had to manually add every team member as a participant.
Now, even private team goals are automatically visible to team members, and you can also share them with members of parent or child organizations as needed.
If team members are transferred to a different organization, the goal visibility is automatically updated to reflect the new organization. There's no need to manually update the visibility every time an organizational change occurs.
3. Convenient Goal Browsing Screen
Previously, to check the status of goals for your team members or other teams, you had to apply filters and repeatedly switch between the responsible team and owner each time.
Now, quick team and member selection is available, making it easy and fast to check the goal status of your team members and other teams.
4. Easy Member Goal Management
Team leads can create goals on behalf of their direct reports, and can also edit and update goals created by direct reports. This allows team leads to create individual goals aligned with the team's direction and manage them accordingly.
Members
Members who execute goals now have more freedom in setting goals and clearer ways to share them.
View everything from organizational goals to individual goals in a single flow, and share individual goals clearly!
1. Flexible Timeframes and Visibility Settings
Previously, goal timeframes could not be set flexibly, and goals had to be created within fixed periods.
Now, you can set goal timeframes according to pre-configured goal cycles that match your company's policies.
If you prefer, you can also enter custom start and end dates to create individual goals that fit your needs.
Also, if a goal was set to private, even the team lead could not see it, requiring the team lead to be manually added as a participant each time.
Now, team leads can view members' goals by default.
If desired, you can also make the goal visible to other team members, or share it with individually selected people, enabling visibility settings that match the nature of each goal.
2. Detailed Goal Sharing with Attachments
Previously, when adding details to a goal or leaving comments to share progress, only text could be used.
Now, you can attach files when creating a goal to share the background, importance, and other details more thoroughly.
When leaving comments on a goal, you can attach related files to better explain work results and goal achievement status. (Coming soon)
3. Customizable Goal Browsing Screen
Previously, goals could only be viewed by year, which meant past half-year or quarterly goals were always displayed together. Also, the goal list showed limited information, requiring you to click into the goal details to see the full content.
Now, you can view goals only for a specific period based on the goal cycle.
The list now shows a wider variety of information, and you can show or hide only the fields you want to see.
Your settings are saved, so the same view is applied the next time you log in.
The concept of "Goal Consensus" has been removed.
The concept of "Goal Consensus," which was always part of goal-linked reviews, has been removed. Administrators can now choose whether to conduct a "Performance Evaluation" when creating an evaluation, and members can directly enter the performance to be evaluated or easily conduct a goal-linked review (= performance evaluation) by linking their individual goals :)

What's New in Evaluations?
The Reviews menu has been renamed to "Evaluations." Your past review results can be found in My Profile - Evaluations tab, and reviews you submitted can be found in your To-Do list.
Viewing Past Reviews
When updated to New Evaluations, the left menu [Reviews] will disappear. The review results that were shared with you can be found in the [My Profile] - [Evaluations] tab.
Reviews you wrote and submitted can be found via the [Home Feed] - [To-Do] - [To Do] tab [Review Write Request] task category filter.
Checking Evaluation Item Notices and Writing Evaluation Items
When conducting a competency evaluation, you can check the competencies you will be evaluated on.
In New Evaluations, "Goal Consensus" has been removed. Instead, members can directly enter the performance to be evaluated, or select the competencies they want to be evaluated on to configure their evaluation items.
Also, when selecting performance items, the Goal Link feature allows you to pull in goals where you are registered as the owner/participant, and directly select those goals as evaluation items!
The evaluation writing screen has also changed. Before filling out the evaluation form, you can review the evaluation instructions left by the administrator, and write evaluations covering a variety of content including competencies and performance.
You can also write evaluations and designate peer reviewers more conveniently through the mobile app.
Evaluation results are compiled into a report and shared. You can more easily understand your evaluation results by reviewing the grade summary and overall diagnosis together.
