In this guide, you can check the permissions required for shift work type and the work schedule management settings by location.
Permission Settings
Basically, to access the menu, the [Settings] → [Permission Settings] → [Shift Work Management] permission is required.
When granting permissions to organization heads or members, please carefully configure the [Permission Scope].1. When only [Work View] &[Leave View] & [Shift Work Management] permissions are granted
Even with only [Work View] &[Leave View] & [Shift Work Management] permissions, you can access the shift work management menu on the left.
Usage Tip: You can view for reference how schedules are arranged. (However, schedule editing is not possible, only 'viewing' is available.)
2. When [Work Edit] + [Work View] permissions are granted but [Leave Edit] permission is not granted
With only [Work Edit] permission, you can freely arrange and modify work schedules (Day, Night, Off, etc.) even without leave-related permissions.
Note: However, without [Leave Edit] permission, the ability to newly register annual leave or cancel existing annual leave on the work schedule is restricted. Only schedule changes are possible.
3. (Recommended) Permission combination for complete management
Work Schedule Management by Location
If your company manages multiple stores in each region and needs schedule management and commute management by store, please proceed with the settings according to the guide below.
When creating a schedule, you can set the 'Applicable Organization' along with the name, description, and work and break time information.
Schedule creation, modification, and deletion are restricted depending on the [Applicable Organization] and the scope of permissions the administrator has.
Hereinafter, schedules with [Applicable Organization] designated as 'All' will be referred to as 'Shared Schedules', and schedules designated to a specific organization other than 'All' will be referred to as 'Organization-Specific Schedules'.
Shared Schedule ([Applicable Organization]: 'All')
Assignment: Shared Schedules can be used (assigned) as schedules for all members.
If it is a schedule used uniformly across the entire company, a Shared Schedule is appropriate.
Management: Only central administrators with work/leave edit permissions for 'all members' can create/modify/delete Shared Schedules.
This prevents a specific organization's administrator from accidentally creating or modifying a schedule used by everyone.
Specific Organization Schedule ([Applicable Organization]: specific organization such as 'Seochon Branch')
Assignment: Specific Organization Schedules can only be used when viewing includes that organization.
Suitable for schedules limited to a specific store. If it's a schedule used only at 'Seochon Branch', it won't be displayed when viewing and assigning other organizations like 'Seochon Branch', so you can only see the schedules you need.
If the [Include as Sub-organization] option is enabled, it can also be used when assigning to sub-organizations of the applicable organization.
Management: Any administrator with work/leave edit permissions for the specific organization can create/modify/delete that organization's schedule.
Without the central administrator having to individually designate schedules for each organization, the administrator of that organization can manage them directly.
Work Schedule Management
Click the gear icon in the upper right of the [Shift Work Management] tab, then click [Work Schedule] to see the following.
In the settings panel, different lists are displayed depending on the administrator's permissions.
Administrators with work/leave edit permissions for 'all members' can see all company schedules.
Administrators with work/leave edit permissions for a specific organization (e.g., 'Seochon Branch') will only see schedules that belong to one of the following.
Work schedules with Applicable Organization set to 'All' (Shared Schedules)
Work schedules with Applicable Organization set to 'Seochon Branch'
(e.g., 'Seohyeon Branch', which is not a sub-organization of 'Seochon Branch', is not shown to someone with only 'Seochon Branch' permissions)Work schedules where the Applicable Organization is a parent organization of 'Seochon Branch' and the [Also usable in sub-organizations] option is checked (e.g., shown when the 'Seoul Headquarters' schedule, which is a parent of 'Seochon Branch', has this option enabled)
If you have permissions, you can click a schedule to edit it. Also, you can click the keyboard icon on the right to designate shortcuts to use when entering schedules.
Creating a Work Schedule
Whether schedules can be added, modified, or deleted depends on the administrator's work/leave edit permissions.
Administrators with permissions for 'all members' can add, modify, and delete all schedules.
