You can learn how to set up workplaces according to your organization's operational structure and efficiently distribute schedule management permissions.
Use the 'Workplace' information—previously used only for GPS verification—as the core management unit for shift work.
Even if your organizational structure is complex or you have many branches to manage, you can operate/manage schedules without any issues.
Shift work management such as schedule assignment and publishing can only be applied to employees who have the 'Shift Work' type assigned to them.
Shift Work Permission Setup
To access the [Shift Work Management] menu, you need the [Settings] → [Permission Settings] → [Shift Work Management] permission. When granting work and leave permissions in addition to [Shift Work Management], please set the [Permission Scope] carefully.
1. When only [Work View] & [Leave View] & [Shift Work Management] permissions are granted
Even with only [Work View] & [Leave View] & [Shift Work Management] permissions, you can access the Shift Work Management menu on the left.
Usage tip: You can view schedules for reference to see how they are arranged. (However, schedule editing is not possible—only viewing.)
2. When [Work Edit] + [Work View] permissions are granted but [Leave Edit] permission is not
With only the [Work Edit] permission, you can freely assign and modify work schedules (day, night, off, etc.) even without leave-related permissions.
Note: However, without the [Leave Edit] permission, the ability to register new leave or cancel existing leave on the schedule is restricted. You can only change schedules.
3. (Recommended) Permission combination for complete management
Which type is your company?
Check the types below and set up the workplace-specific schedule that matches your company type!
Type 1. Managing stores across multiple locations (franchise, retail, etc.)
Situation: The headquarters is in Seoul, but there are directly-managed or franchised stores spread across the country in Busan, Gwangju, Daejeon, etc.
Need: Each local store has a different manager and different staff. Independent schedules are needed for each store.
How to use: Register each store (Busan branch, Gwangju branch, etc.) as a separate workplace for management.
Type 2. Different work patterns by department within a single building (hospital, hotel, factory, etc.)
Situation: It's one large hospital building, but the work patterns for 'Emergency Room,' 'ICU,' and 'General Ward' are completely different. For hotels, the 'Front Desk' and 'Housekeeping Team' have different schedules.
Need: Although the location is the same, the head nurse (team leader) who creates the schedule is different for each department. Schedules between departments should not be mixed.
How to use: Even if the location is the same, register separate workplaces by management unit (department). (e.g., XX Hospital_Emergency Room, XX Hospital_General Ward)
