I Transferred an Employee to an Affiliate — How Can I Grant Annual Leave Based on Their Original Hire Date?

Updated today

Even when an employee's affiliation changes due to an affiliate transfer, you can use the Group Hire Date feature to recognize their tenure and grant annual leave accordingly. Follow the guide below to set the employee's group hire date.

Granting Annual Leave Using the Group Hire Date

  • Click [Member Profile] → [Basic Information] → Edit to enable [Use Group Hire Date] and set the date.

  • Go to [Settings] → [Annual Leave Settings] → [Annual Leave Grant Settings] and click [Set based on Group Hire Date].

  • The number of annual leave days granted to the employee will automatically change based on the group hire date.

  • Example: Group hire date October 4, 2016 / Actual hire date January 18, 2018

FAQ

I want to check tenure based on the group hire date in the member list.

The member list displays tenure based on the hire date at the current company by default. Tenure based on the group hire date is not currently provided.

Can custom leave also be granted based on tenure?

If the custom leave grant method is set to [Recurring Grant] or [Grant by Tenure], you can grant custom leave based on the [Group Hire Date].
