Can I Conduct Surveys Using the Review Feature?

With flex's performance management features, you can conduct not only goal setting, measurement, reviews, and 1-on-1s, but also simple surveys like health checks and various other types of surveys.

  • Go to the left menu [Reviews] → [Review Management] → [Create Review], then enter the title of the review you want to create.

  • If you have already created a survey review template, you can load it via [Load Template] at the bottom. If you haven't created a template, you can create questions directly on the [Create Review] screen.

    • Note that review items created in the Create Review screen cannot be easily converted into templates, so if you plan to use them frequently, we recommend creating a review template in advance. Go to Review Template Guide

  • If you plan to create questions directly on the Create Review screen, enter the first section title and description, then click [Add] at the bottom to build your survey questions! For more details about creating reviews, click the guide on the right.

  • Design the survey questions you want to collect from team members. Along with designing the questions, please check the basic settings of the review.

    • If you are conducting a general survey, setting the review type to [Self Review] is fine.

    • You can set the result sharing audience according to your company's situation and the nature of the survey, but if only the person in charge will review the survey results, you don't need to set a result sharing audience separately.

    • If you need an anonymous survey, disable the [Show Author] setting in the [Basic Settings] tab on the right. However, admins with review management permissions can still see who submitted responses.

  • In Step 2 (Target Setting), add review targets. If you set the review type to Self Review, reviewers are automatically assigned as soon as you add review targets.

  • In Step 3 (Final Confirmation), set the review writing period to define the survey period. After setting the period and reviewing the settings once more, click [Create Review] in the upper right to create the review.

  • Admins can click on the survey review in the left menu [Reviews] → [Review Management] → [In Progress] tab to check the survey submission status. You can also download the survey results as an Excel file at any time, whether the survey is in progress or closed!
