Updating Goal Progress Status and Activity History

Keep your goals up to date regularly through goal progress status and activity history updates.

Also, if you encounter difficulties during the goal progress, try resolving issues with your team lead through flex 1-on-1 meetings!

Updating Goals

  • You can update the [Goal Progress Status].

    • Progress Status: Indicates the goal progress status, where you can choose from [On Track], [At Risk], [Off Track].

    • Closing Status: Indicates the goal completion status, where you can choose from [Goal Achieved], [Partially Not Achieved], [Goal Not Achieved], [Discontinued].

  • You can update the [Current Metrics] of the goal.

  • After entering the goal status and metrics, click [Update] on the right to change the goal status.

  • You can leave comments on goal progress and reply to comments!
    Only the person who left the comment can edit or delete it.

Automatic Goal Metrics Update

Progress status (On Track, At Risk, etc.) is not changed automatically.
Please update the progress status separately if needed.

  • By enabling the [Auto-Update Goal] feature on the right side of a parent goal, the parent goal's progress will be automatically updated based on the progress of its sub-goals.

  • There are 3 options for automatic goal calculation.

    • Average Achievement Rate of Sub-Goals: The goal is automatically updated by averaging the achievement rates of sub-goals.

    • Sum of Sub-Goal Values: Suitable for goals with a measurement unit of [Currency].

    • Average of Sub-Goal Values: Suitable for goals with a measurement unit of [Number].

  • Sum of Sub-Goal Values and Average of Sub-Goal Values can only be used when the measurement units of sub-goals are the same.

    • ***A goal like "Acquire 500 leads through promotions" has a measurement unit of Number

    • "Reduce budget by n% compared to Q1" has a measurement unit of %. When sub-goals have different measurement units, you can only update using [Average Achievement Rate of Sub-Goals].


FAQ

The automatic goal update was suddenly disabled.

If you manually update the metrics of a goal that uses auto-update,

the auto-update will be deactivated. If the update has been deactivated, please turn the [Auto-Update] feature back on and only change the progress status!

Can I hide activity history?

You can hide Change History from the activity history to view only comments and goal metrics update information.

Can I attach files to goal comments?

File attachment upload for comments is not currently supported.

Is there a goal reminder feature?

If you're worried that the ambitious goals you set with your team members might gradually fade from memory, try using the reminder feature on the flex mobile app!
In the flex mobile app, go to [App Settings][Goals] and turn on [Goal Reminder] to set the repeat cycle, day of the week, and time.

Note: If Goals is not visible in the App Settings menu, please update the app to the latest version.

Can I delete comments left in the goal activity history?

If you left only a comment text as shown in the first image in the goal activity history, you can delete it by hovering over it with your mouse.

However, comments written along with goal progress status and metrics updates cannot be deleted and can only be edited. If you want to remove the text, please edit and clear the text then update, or

if you want to revert the metrics to a previous state, you will need to make adjustments through the progress status and current metrics update.
