Let us explain what flexible work is, how to set up a flexible work type in flex, and how to apply it to employees!
What is Flexible Work?
Flexible work (flexible working hours system) is a work type where employees can autonomously decide their start and end times within a set total working hours for a given period.
For example:
A company working 9 AM to 6 PM has fixed working hours of 40 hours per week and 8 hours per day. However, the flexible work type is a system where employees autonomously set their own working hours without daily hour restrictions.
However, if there are mandatory work hours (core time) agreed upon with the company, employees must be working during those hours.
