Document Box Settings
What is a Document Box?
Think of it as a folder!
When an administrator creates Document Box A, a Document Box A (folder) is automatically created for each employee, and administrators or employees can upload documents to that folder!
You can organize employee HR history and manage documents by category according to the folder's purpose.
Click [Settings] → [Document Box Settings] to see the default [Salary & Employment Contract] document box provided by flex.
Click [Add Document Box] in the upper right to add custom document boxes beyond the default ones provided by flex. For more details on document box settings, refer to the guide below!
What's the difference between default and custom document boxes?
Custom document boxes can be set as confidential document boxes. Each document box supports uploading up to 10 files!
Uploading Electronic Contracts
Once you've created the document box, go to Employee Profile → [Documents / Certificates] tab and click the Salary or Employment Contract document box.
Select the file to upload and click [Save]. Uploaded documents are only accessible to administrators with document management permissions and the employee themselves.
Uploaded documents can be downloaded and edited by hovering over them. Click [Download] in the upper right to batch download all documents uploaded to the document box.
If you created a [Confidential Document Box] through custom document settings, the employee cannot even see the document box name. Only administrators with document management permissions can know the document box exists and upload & download documents.
Uploading Pay Stubs
Each document box supports uploading up to 10 files. We recommend creating separate document boxes for first half/second half as shown in the example below.
Once the document box is created, go to Employee Profile → [Documents / Certificates] tab and click the created document box to upload documents.

Batch uploading documents to individual employee document boxes is not currently supported. Please access each employee's profile to upload documents.

After registering the terminated employee in flex, you can go to their profile - Documents & Certificates tab and upload documents to the document box you created, allowing you to manage electronic contracts, pay stubs, and earned income withholding tax receipts for terminated employees in flex.
We don't process payroll through flex, but can we upload pay stubs or earned income certificates to flex for employees to view and download?

Even if you don't process payroll through flex, if you want employees to view and download pay stubs or earned income withholding tax receipts through flex, you can add document boxes matching the document type through [Document Box Settings] as described above, then upload and manage documents.
