What are Work Types and Work Policies?

Updated today

Work Types refer to the employee's [work system] as established in the employment contract, including Fixed Work Type, Staggered Work Type, and Flexible Work Type.

Work Policies refer to [work categories] - think of them as field work, business trips, or remote work!

Work Type Settings

Think of Work Types as your company's [work system].

  • If clock-in and clock-out times are fixed → Fixed Work Type

  • If clock-in time is a range, such as 9 AM to 10 AM → Staggered Work Type

  • If work schedules vary by day, week, or month → Shift Work Type

  • If daily prescribed working hours and clock-in times are not fixed and you [fulfill target working hours within a specific cycle] → Flexible Work Type

  • Go to [Settings] → [Work Types] on the left to set employee work types.

    • If no work type is set separately, it defaults to the basic work type.

    • Overtime and insufficient work hours are determined based on the configured work type, so please assign work types based on the actual employment contract.
