You can manage information needed for payroll processing, including withholding agent information and pay stub calculation basis settings.
[Payroll Settings] permission must be granted.
Company Information Settings
Click [Withholding Agent Information] and enter the basic information of the withholding agent for filing tax returns and using year-end settlement features, including various payroll certificates (Withholding Tax Receipt, Withholding Tax Ledger, Pay Stub, Income Tax Withholding Confirmation).
Withholding agent information is also important for withholding tax and local income tax filings, so please make sure to enter the information.
Please also make sure to enter important information for withholding tax and local income tax filings, such as corporation type and Hometax ID.
Social Insurance Filing Information: This is where you enter the workplace management number and phone number.
Company Size: This is where you enter the employment insurance employer contribution rate. It is needed for calculating the employer's employment insurance contribution during payroll processing.
Advanced Settings
Severance Pay Calculation: Settings for automatic severance pay calculation.
Exclude Employment Insurance for Mid-term Settlement: ON/OFF setting for employment insurance when processing mid-term settlement for departing employees. If you do not want to include employment insurance, please set it to OFF.
Decimal Amount Processing for Deduction Items: Determines how to round decimal amounts that occur in deduction items due to pro-rating, etc.
Pay Stub Calculation Basis Settings: This setting allows you to display overtime hours and pay calculation basis per employee on pay stubs.
The pay stub calculation basis on/off setting is applied immediately and applies to all past pay stubs as well.
Click [Sample Preview] at the top to check how the pay stub looks with the calculation basis toggle on/off.
If there is a fixed overtime pay amount, the calculation basis (fixed overtime hours, etc.) will be displayed.
If you do not want to display the fixed overtime calculation basis, please turn off the fixed overtime calculation basis in [Pay Stub Calculation Basis Settings].
The [Inclusive Contract Work Hours] information entered in the employee profile contract information is displayed as the calculation basis.
