I Want to Set It So Registered Directors Don't Receive Annual Leave!

How to set the annual leave policy to "No Annual Leave" for registered directors, including individual and bulk change methods.

If a member's employment type is set to [Registered Director], you can configure the annual leave policy to [No Annual Leave]. If the member is a non-registered director but you still don't want to grant annual leave, see the FAQ below!

If the Registered Director is Already in flex

  • Go to the director's profile → [Employment Contract Info] tab and verify that the employment type is set to [Registered Director]. The employment type must be set to [Registered Director] to see the [No Annual Leave] option.

  • Click [Change] on the right side of the [Leave Info] tab.

  • Select [No Annual Leave] and click [Save Changes].

  • You can also bulk-change the annual leave policy to [No Annual Leave] for all registered directors via [Member Management] → [HR Info Management] → [Bulk Info Change] tab → [Change Info] in the top right → [Annual Leave Info Change].

When registering a registered director in flex:

  • In the left menu, go to [Member Management] → [Add Member], then first set the employment type in the employment contract info to [Registered Director], and set the [Annual Leave Policy] to [No Annual Leave].

FAQ

What should I do if the employment type is non-registered director but I want to grant no annual leave?

In flex, an annual leave policy must be set for all members except those with employment type [Registered Director] or [Very Short-hour Worker].

If the employment type is [Non-registered Director] but your company internally decides not to grant annual leave to non-registered directors as well, create a separate annual leave policy for non-registered directors and set the policy [Grant Start Date] to a date far in the future.
