If the employment type is set to [Registered Officer], you can set the annual leave policy to "Do Not Grant." If the officer is unregistered but you still don't want to grant annual leave, please refer to the FAQ below!
If a Registered Officer is Already Registered in flex
Go to the registered officer's profile → [Employment Contract Information] tab and verify that the employment type is set to [Registered Officer]. The employment type must be set to [Registered Officer] to see the "Do Not Grant Annual Leave" option.
Click [Change] on the right side of the [Leave Information] tab.
Select the [Do Not Grant Annual Leave] option, then click [Apply Changes].
You can also batch change the annual leave policy for registered officers to [Do Not Grant Annual Leave] via the left menu [Members] → [HR Information Management] → [Batch Information Change] tab → upper right [Change Information] → [Change Annual Leave Information].
When Registering a New Registered Officer in flex
In the left menu [Members] → [Add Member], first set the Employment Contract Information - Employment Type at the bottom to [Registered Officer], then set the [Annual Leave Policy] to [Do Not Grant Annual Leave].
FAQ
What should I do if the employment type is Unregistered Officer but I don't want to grant annual leave?
What should I do if the employment type is Unregistered Officer but I don't want to grant annual leave?
In flex, an annual leave policy must be set for all employment types except [Registered Officer] or [Ultra-Short-Hour Worker].
If the employment type is [Unregistered Officer] but due to internal circumstances you do not want to grant annual leave, create a separate annual leave policy to apply to unregistered officers, and set the policy's [Grant Start Date] to a date far in the future!
