I Want to Exclude Registered Officers from Missing Work Records

If the employment type is set to [Registered Officer], they don't need to record work since they are not employees. However, when registered in flex, a work type must be set up just like regular members, which may cause them to appear in the work shortage or missing work list during attendance management. Here's how to manage this so they can be excluded from the work shortage and missing work lists.

How to Set Up a Registered Officer in flex

  • Go to the registered officer's profile → [Employment Contract Information] tab and check if the employment type is set to [Registered Officer]! If it is not set to Registered Officer, change the employment type to [Registered Officer]!

How to Create a Dedicated Work Type for Registered Officers

  • Since registered officers also need a work type, you can create a dedicated work type that automatically records work to prevent them from showing up as work shortage or missing work.

  • We recommend creating a fixed-hour work type for easier management. For details, refer to the Fixed Work Type Settings Guide.

  • Go to [Settings] - [Work Types] - [Add Type] and select [Fixed Work].

  • Enter the work type name and configure working days, weekly rest days, etc.

  • Turn ON automatic work recording so that work records are filled in automatically.

How to Apply the Officer Work Type

  • Apply the created officer work type through the officer's [Profile] - [Work Information] - [Change] on the right.

  • You can also change this via the left menu [Members] → [HR Information Management] → [Batch Information Change] tab → upper right [Change Information] → [Change Work Information].

When Registering a Registered Officer in flex

  • In the left menu [Members] → [Add Member], first set the employment type to [Registered Officer], then you can immediately apply the created work type.


FAQ

What about unregistered officers?

Unregistered officers may need to maintain work records and be managed similarly to regular employees depending on their contract. In such cases, create a new work type according to your management approach, just like for regular members.
