Syncing 1-on-1 Schedules with Google Calendar

Updated today

1-on-1 schedules are automatically added to individual Google Calendars when the host and participant have enabled personal Google Calendar sync—not through Google group calendars.

Syncing 1-on-1s with Google Calendar

  • Click the area with your company name or logo at the top of the left menu → [My Settings][Google Calendar Integration].

  • Enable the integration toggle.

    • When clicking the integration button, please check whether pop-ups are blocked.

    • Also verify that your flex login account and Chrome login account match.

  • Once the integration is enabled, your upcoming leave, work, and 1-on-1 schedules will be automatically synced to [My Calendar] in Google Calendar.

Scheduling a 1-on-1

  • Go to the left menu [1-on-1] → [Send 1-on-1], set the participant, schedule settings, and write an invitation message, then click [Send 1-on-1].

  • You can see that the schedule has been added to your synced Google Calendar.

    • In Google Calendar, the event is added with the title {Participant} / {Host} as shown below.

    • The description shows the invitation message entered when creating the 1-on-1.

    • Clicking the link at the bottom will navigate to the 1-on-1 list screen. You can check upcoming schedules and write meeting notes.

    • Recurring 1-on-1 schedules are pre-registered in the calendar for up to 5 events.

  • If you change or cancel a 1-on-1 schedule in flex, it will also be removed from the calendar.

  • For recurring schedules, only the necessary events will be updated in Google Calendar based on the [Edit Scope] you selected when making changes.

FAQ

Will recurring schedules created in the past also be synced to Google Calendar?

  • If personal Google Calendar sync was already enabled before September 23, 2024, past 1-on-1 schedules will also be synced to the calendar.

  • If Google Calendar sync was disabled and you enabled personal Google Calendar sync after September 23, 2024, only newly registered schedules will be synced.

I turned off the Google Calendar sync setting, but 1-on-1 schedules haven't disappeared from Google Calendar.

Even if you turn off the Google Calendar sync setting, previously registered 1-on-1 schedules will not be deleted. You will need to manually delete them from within the calendar.
