How Are Mandatory Leave Types (Military Training, Health Leave) Granted to Employees?

Updated yesterday

Among the mandatory leave types guaranteed by law, some are determined by gender. Check how to grant leave to employees who need to take time off for military reserve training, menstrual leave, and similar situations.

  • In the left menu, go to [Settings] - [Custom Leave] - [Leave Policy - Additional Settings], where military training and health leave are granted to male and female employees respectively based on the eligible gender setting.

  • If an employee reports that the leave is not visible, check whether the employee's resident registration number has been entered correctly, including the back digits.

    • Male: 1, 3, 5 (foreigner) / Female: 2, 4, 6 (foreigner)

    • If there is no resident registration number, gender-based leave will not be granted. Updating the employee's information will make the previously hidden leave appear automatically.

FAQ

Health leave is granted as 1 day per month. How do I register last month's health leave?

Due to the nature of leave granted as 1 day per month, the automatically granted 1 day is generated and expires each month. Therefore, the currently available health leave is only usable 'within the current month'.

If an employee forgot to register last month's leave, you can resolve this through manual granting.

  • Manually granting 'leave usable from a past date' to the employee

    1. Go to Attendance Management → Leave Management → Leave Balance Status tab and select the employee who needs leave granted.

    2. Click Grant Custom Leave → select Health Leave

    3. Set the usage period of the granted leave to start 'earlier than the date that needs to be registered' and end 'on or after today when the registration is being attempted'.

    4. After granting, guide the employee to use the leave, and you're done!
