Leave Overview

flex has Annual Leave and Custom Leave. Annual leave refers to legally mandated paid leave.

Custom leave refers to leave other than annual leave. Some are legally guaranteed, such as military reserve training or maternity leave, while others can be company-specific leave like refresh leave.

Registering Annual Leave and Custom Leave

  • You can register annual leave or custom leave in [Leave] -> [My Leave].

  • For leave that requires supporting document submission, you must submit the documents before the leave can be used.
    After submission, click Request Approval to register the leave.

Viewing Leave Records

  • At the bottom of the Leave Overview, you can check the leave schedules registered this year and their approval status.

  • Click a leave schedule to view the approval progress, comments, and approval documents.


FAQ

Can I cancel registered leave?

Click the three dots on the right to cancel registered leave. However, if the leave cancellation approval setting is enabled, a cancellation approval will be triggered. If an admin with management permissions cancels a member's leave, no approval is triggered.

I can't see military reserve training or health leave!

Military reserve training and health leave are types of leave granted only to male and female employees respectively. If you cannot see these leaves, please check if the resident registration number is fully entered (including the last digits) in [My Profile]!

The same leave is showing as two separate leave cards!

This happens when the leave usage unit was changed midway!

For example, if leave "A" was originally set to be used in full-day units,

but was later changed to allow half-day usage, when granted to the member it shows as two separate cards instead of being combined into one :)

If an employee on leave actually comes to work and presses Start Work, will it be recorded?

During leave hours, work entry and work start are not allowed.

If you registered all-day leave or actually worked during leave, you need to cancel the registered leave first -> register work -> re-register the leave.


When registering leave, the deducted hours are not what I intended. What should I check?

The hours deducted when registering leave are based on the daily contractual working hours in the work type applied to each member. For example, if an admin applied a work type with 8-hour workdays to Hong Gildong, 8 hours are deducted for full-day leave and 4 hours for half-day leave.

If the hours are not being deducted as intended when registering custom or annual leave, check how the daily contractual working hours are configured in the work type applied to the member, and if incorrectly set, apply a new work type.

Can't annual leave be used on weekends like Saturday and Sunday?

  • You can register statutory annual leave on weekends like Saturday and Sunday! Especially for members with the [Shift Work Type], leave registration is possible on weekends. If statutory annual leave cannot be registered on weekends, please check if the member has the shift work type applied!
