If leave is granted and used as 1 day, but an employee says they can only use 4 hours, please check the following!
Check Employee Leave Balance
Check the leave balance in the employee's [Leave Overview].
Leave shown in a blue box means the employee doesn't have the leave yet, but it will be granted as 1 day according to the policy when they apply.
Leave shown in a red box means the employee already has 4 days of leave (shown in black).
The military training card says 1 day, so why does the employee only have 4 hours?
This situation means that the employee who received 1 day of military training leave didn't use a full-day leave, but instead used a morning half-day, afternoon half-day, or hourly leave for only 4 hours. The remaining 4 hours haven't disappeared - they're still in the employee's military training leave card!
