Designating Peer Reviewers in the New Performance Management Mobile App

Updated today

You can designate peer reviewers for peer evaluations in the mobile app.

This guide covers how members can directly designate their own peer reviewers and how team leaders can designate reviewers for their team members.

Designating Peer Reviewers (Self-Designation)

  • When a member directly designates their own peer reviewer, the reviewee can check the reviewer designation request in their To-Do and Notifications.

    • Click the designation request, click [Select], then search for or designate a colleague to evaluate you, and click the [Select] button at the bottom.

  • After confirming the designated peer reviewer, click [Submit] at the bottom to finalize the peer reviewer.

  • Before the peer reviewer designation deadline, you can re-designate a reviewer by clicking [To-Do] - [Things to Do] - [Peer Reviewer Designation Request] from the completed to-do list, then clicking [Cancel Submission] at the bottom.

  • When an approval process is set up for peer reviewer designation, after selecting a peer reviewer, the [Request Approval] button will be displayed instead of [Submit]. When requesting approval, the member can enter a reason for the designated reviewer and send a request to the approver.

  • If a modification is needed for the designated peer reviewer, the member can check the previously submitted or approval-requested to-do from the mobile app under [Today] - [Things to Do].

    • If an approval request was submitted for peer reviewer designation, cancellation and re-designation is possible only for approvals that are still in progress. A notification is sent to the approver when the approval request is cancelled.

    • Without an approval process, if the member designated a reviewer and submitted it so the reviewer was immediately confirmed, you can re-designate by clicking the [Cancel Submission] button.

    • Peer reviewer modifications can only be made and approval requests cancelled before the reviewer designation deadline set by the administrator.

Processing Peer Reviewer Designation Approval

  • When an approval for peer reviewer designation occurs, a notification is sent to the approver. The approver can check the approval request details from the mobile app under [Today] - [Things to Do].

    • The approver can review the requested details and proceed with approval or rejection. However, once approval or rejection is completed, it cannot be cancelled, so please be sure to review the content before proceeding.

    • Next, click the rejection button to leave a rejection reason, and the member can check the rejection reason left by the approver in the activity history of the peer reviewer approval request document.

  • If the peer reviewer approval request has been rejected, a notification of the rejection is sent to the member, and the member can re-designate a peer reviewer and request approval again.

(Team Leader) Designating Peer Reviewers for Members

This covers the method where the team leader of the reviewee designates the peer reviewer.

  • Team leaders who need to designate reviewers can find the [Today] - [Things to Do] - [Peer Reviewer Designation Request] to-do in the mobile app.

    • Clicking Peer Reviewer Designation Request shows the list of reviewees for whom the team leader needs to designate reviewers at the top of the next screen.

    • Click the [Select] button below each reviewee.

    • On the reviewer selection screen, search for or designate a peer reviewer, then click the [Select] button at the bottom of the screen to designate the reviewer for that reviewee.

  • On the next screen after selecting reviewers, you can confirm how many evaluations the selected reviewer is already handling before finalizing the reviewer.

    • For example, if Kim Haneul is included as a peer reviewer for Kim Jusin and Kim Haneul is already scheduled to conduct 4 evaluations, you can check whether the evaluation burden is high and adjust accordingly.

    • Click the X button to the right of a reviewer to remove them from the list.

    • Once peer reviewer designation and adjustments are complete, click the [Submit] button at the bottom of the screen to finalize the reviewers for each reviewee.

  • If the designated reviewers need to be modified or readjusted, the team leader can select the already-submitted [Peer Reviewer Designation Request] to-do from the mobile app under [Today] – [Things to Do] to cancel the submission.

    • Cancelling the submission allows peer reviewers to be re-selected and re-designated, but cancellation and modifications are only possible before the reviewer designation deadline.

  • Web/app notifications, to-do requests, emails, and Slack notifications are sent to the person who needs to designate a reviewer (member, team leader, etc.).

If a member has not submitted their reviewer by the peer reviewer designation deadline, can a reminder notification be sent to the reviewee's team leader?
