FAQ

Can I modify work that is pending approval?

If you are an authorized user with work edit permission, you can modify work even if you are not the work approval authority.

You can modify work records, such as changing from Remote Work → Work. You can also modify times, not just work policies.

I can't modify an employee's work. What should I check?

If you are an administrator with work edit permission but cannot modify employee work, check whether there is a lock icon on the employee's work as shown in the image below.

Work that has been closed for attendance or for which compensatory leave has been granted cannot be modified, so please release the attendance closing or recover the compensatory leave before modifying the work.

An employee clocked in late and I want to adjust their start time. Can I modify it?

Real-time work records cannot be modified. If you need to modify a real-time work record, please have the administrator modify the work after it has been finalized and confirmed.

An employee missed their clock-out record. Can I process their clock-out on their behalf?

Real-time work records cannot be modified. In this case,

  1. Guide the employee to record their own clock-out, or

  2. If there is no clock-out record for more than 20 hours from the clock-in time, the work is reset, at which point the employee or administrator can modify the work record.

If employees frequently miss clock-out records, try using the [Auto Clock-Out] option in Work Type - Record Policy Management - Record Settings. With this setting, if the employee does not clock out within 20 hours after starting work, work is automatically recorded for the 'working hours' amount set in the work type.

It says this is not the currently editing work cycle and I cannot modify it. What should I do?

Work editing must be done within a single cycle.

For example, if the cycle is 1 week, editing work across multiple cycles (e.g., editing this Monday's and next Monday's work at the same time) will result in an error message saying it is not the currently editing work cycle. In this case, please edit the work for the current week first, then edit the next week's work separately!
