Through the Secom/ADT Caps/KT Telecop integration, you can sync access control device records as real-time attendance records in flex.
When you select and input 'Clock In' on the access control device, it will be synced as a real-time clock-in record in flex.
When you select and input 'Clock Out' on the access control device, it will be synced as a real-time clock-out record in flex.
To integrate Secom / ADT Caps / KT Telecop, the [Access Control Integration Management] permission is required.
Secom/ADT Caps/KT Telecop Integration Setup
To integrate Secom/ADT Caps/KT Telecop, a subscription to the [Access Control Integration] add-on service is required.
You can subscribe to the add-on service from the [Subscription & Payment Management] menu in Settings.
Once your subscription is complete, please refer to the integration guide for each system to proceed with the integration.
Once the integration is complete, clock-in/out records stamped on the access control device will be reflected in real time in flex work records, without needing to manually log attendance in flex.
[Confirmation Required at Clock-Out]
By default, when a clock-out record is created, you must complete the confirmation on the work confirmation screen for that day via an in-app notification before the work record is registered. Until confirmed through the in-app notification, the work record will not appear in menus such as 'My Work'.

If confirming every day is cumbersome, try using the 'Skip Work Record Check at Clock-Out' option in the real-time widget.
By pressing the gear button on the real-time widget in the flex web or app and enabling the 'Skip Work Record Check at Clock-Out' setting, clock-out stamps on Secom/ADT Caps/KT Telecop terminals will be registered immediately without requiring a separate confirmation.

Go to Settings - Work Type - Real-Time Work Record Check - Default Setting at Clock-Out - and set it to Skip Work Record Check; administrators can then bulk-skip the work record confirmation screen for all members! You can configure the skip setting under Settings - Work Type - Default Clock-Out Settings.
Applying this setting allows you to bulk configure the [Skip] option for all members' default clock-out settings.

Notes & Precautions
Precautions for Clock-In/Out Records
Accepted Records
Only records entered after selecting 'Clock In' or 'Clock Out' are recognized as clock-in and clock-out in flex.
Records entered in 'Access' mode are not synced as clock-in or clock-out by default.
If you want records from certain time periods to be automatically treated as 'Clock In' or 'Clock Out', please refer to the FAQ.

Duplicate Handling
If multiple 'Clock In' records occur on the same day, only the first record is used.
For example, if you clock in once at 9:00 AM and once at 10:00 AM, the 10:00 AM record will be ignored.
If multiple 'Clock Out' records occur on the same day while awaiting confirmation, only the last record is used. For example, if you clock out once at 8:00 PM and once at 9:00 PM, the 8:00 PM record will be invalidated and only the 9:00 PM clock-out record will be used. (When the skip work confirmation option is not enabled)

Leave-Related
On days when an all-day leave is registered, real-time clock-in or clock-out is not possible.
If you clock in during an ongoing leave period, the clock-in will be scheduled for when the leave ends.
For example, if a leave from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM is registered and you clock in at 9:45 AM,
→ the work will be recorded as starting from 10:00 AM after the leave ends at 10:00 AM.
If you clock out during an ongoing leave period, the clock-out will be recorded as the time just before the leave began.
For example, if a leave from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM is registered and you clock out at 6:15 PM,
→ work will be recorded as ending at 6:00 PM, followed by the leave from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Precautions for Work Type Settings
Usage Conditions
The Secom/ADT Caps integration can only be used with work types that have the 'Real-Time Clock-In/Out' feature enabled.

This can be configured under [Settings] - [Work Types].

Interpretation of Clock-In and Clock-Out Times
The time at which synced records are registered in flex depends on the work type's 'On-Time Clock-In/Out Recognition Range' setting.
When the 'On-Time Clock-In/Out Recognition Range' feature is off: Records are always logged in real time.
When the 'On-Time Clock-In/Out Recognition Range' feature is on: Records are logged at the most favorable time for the member within the range allowed by the settings. That is, the earliest possible time is used for clock-in and the latest possible time for clock-out.
Examples by setting
The following shows how times are interpreted based on this setting for a fixed work type with hours from 9:00 to 18:00 every day.
'On-Time Clock-In/Out Recognition Range' set to Exact Time Only

FAQ: Work Entry Restrictions
I have GPS or IP-based work location restrictions configured. How does this affect input via the Secom/ADT Caps/KT Telecop integration?
I have GPS or IP-based work location restrictions configured. How does this affect input via the Secom/ADT Caps/KT Telecop integration?
Clock-in/out records registered through the Secom/ADT Caps/KT Telecop integration will always be registered, bypassing work location restrictions.
Can I configure it so that only Secom/ADT Caps/KT Telecop work records (clock-in/out) are allowed, while work records (clock-in/out) from the app and web are not permitted?
Can I configure it so that only Secom/ADT Caps/KT Telecop work records (clock-in/out) are allowed, while work records (clock-in/out) from the app and web are not permitted?
First of all, this configuration is not recommended.
There will inevitably be situations where members forget to stamp in, and each time this happens, administrator intervention and manual work registration will be required.
During busy clock-in/out times, queueing up to stamp one by one can cause inefficiency and unintended tardiness.

To manage attendance so that clock-in/out is only possible from a designated location, we recommend combining this with the 'Work Location Restriction' feature.
With the 'Out-of-Location Approval Registration' setting enabled, you can configure it so that clock-in/out from within the work location or via Secom/ADT Caps/KT Telecop requires no approval, while all other cases require approval.
With the 'Out-of-Location Approval Registration' setting disabled, you can configure it so that registration is only possible from within the work location or via Secom/ADT Caps/KT Telecop.

For these reasons, this is not officially supported, but if you specifically want stamping to only be done via the Secom/ADT Caps/KT Telecop integration, the following workaround is available:
Enable IP-based restrictions and enter an invalid value such as 1.1.1.1 as the allowed IP.
Due to this setting, registration will only be possible via Secom/ADT Caps/KT Telecop, which bypasses location restrictions.
Please note that if only an arbitrary IP address is registered, even the super administrator may be locked out. For example, if the office IP address is as follows:
211.44.XXX.125
Access the IP access control settings screen using a hotspot or similar, click the 'Add Current IP' button to add the IP, then
211.44.XXX.125
delete the original IP address and save.
If a strong restriction need is identified among many users, we plan to consider providing this as an official feature.
