Starting April 8, 2026, this guide explains how real-time attendance records appear on each administrator and member screen and what actions can be taken.
How to Interpret the Member Work Timeline
A timeline with real-time records is displayed as follows:
Thin line (top): Real-time record — the actual time the member pressed the clock-in/out button.
Thick bar (bottom): Recognized work — work hours adjusted according to company policy and law.
If the start/end times of the two lines differ, it means a work hours adjustment occurred due to policy.
Situations where policy-based work hours adjustments can occur include:
Minimum time and input unit restrictions for overtime records
Restrictions on recording work hours exceeding 52 hours per week
Disallowing clock-in records earlier than the scheduled start time
Viewing a Member's Real-time Work Records
📍 [Work] → [Member Work] → Select a member → Check in the daily timeline
In the [Work] - [Member Work] timeline, both recognized work (thick bar) and real-time records (thin line) are displayed together.
Hovering over the real-time record area displays the actual tap time in detail.
The recognized work graph area shows the actual recognized work hours.
Approving and Confirming Clock-out Records
What changed: Previously, the "clock-out time" itself was trimmed when work was registered. Now, the clock-out time is recorded as the actual tap time, and the work hours are adjusted when converted to recognized work.
When a member confirms a clock-out record, the approval request screen's [Work Preview] shows both the real-time record and the recognized work reflection time.
Record end time: When hovering over the real-time record (thin line), the actual time the member clocked out is preserved as-is.
Recognized work reflection time: The time automatically adjusted according to law/policy is displayed; if an adjustment occurred, it is also noted.
If an approval (for overtime, etc.) has been generated, the administrator can see the following information on the approval request screen:
Hovering over the real-time work graph shows the actual time the member pressed the clock-in and clock-out buttons on the web/app.
You can see that the recognized work graph has been adjusted relative to the actual work graph due to the overtime input unit policy.
If work was previously registered for the member, click the [Compare with Previous Record] button in the approval document to see in detail what changed compared to the previously registered work graph.
Editing Real-time Records After the Fact
Editing a real-time record does not affect the already-confirmed recognized work hours. To modify recognized work, please edit the work record separately.
If attendance records are missed or recorded incorrectly, you can edit them after the fact if you have Real-time Record Edit permission.
Click the real-time work record graph (thin line) > On the real-time record edit screen, you can edit the member's real-time work record.
Changes are applied immediately without a separate approval process.
Checking Real-time Records in Reports
In the daily work report, you can check actual tap times alongside the existing adjusted tap times.
When downloading the daily report, the existing Clock-in Time/Clock-out Time and Start Time/End Time columns are still provided, and new Actual Clock-in Time / Actual Clock-out Time columns are added.
The meaning of each column is as follows:
Column | Meaning |
Real-time Record Start Time | Actual time the member pressed the clock-in button on the web/app (or via Secom, ADT Caps, KT Telecop) |
Real-time Record End Time | Actual time the member pressed the clock-out button on the web/app (or via Secom, ADT Caps, KT Telecop) |
Clock-in Time / Clock-out Time | Recognized tap time adjusted by law and policy |
Start Time / End Time | Start/end time of recognized work, or the time the member registered/edited the work graph (thick graph) in Work - My Work |
How to Interpret the Daily Report with Examples
If a member's work for the week is registered as follows:
The start/end times of the thin line (real-time record) in the timeline correspond to Real-time Record Start Time / Real-time Record End Time in the report.
The start/end times of the thick bar (recognized work) in the timeline correspond to Start Time / End Time in the report.
On days where a policy adjustment occurred, the two values differ. For example, if the Real-time Record End Time is 20:31 but the Clock-out Time is 20:30, that means 1 minute was adjusted by the overtime policy.
Date / Day | Interpretation |
Monday, April 20 | Pressed clock-in at 7 AM and ended work at 4 PM |
Tuesday, April 21 | Pressed clock-in at 6:50 AM. However, early clock-in before the start time of 7 AM is not recognized, so the clock-in time is reflected as 7 AM, and work ended at 4 PM. |
Wednesday, April 22 | Pressed clock-out at 8:40 PM. However, due to the overtime input unit policy, both the clock-out time and end time were reflected as 8:30 PM. |
Thursday, April 23 | Real-time record start/end times and clock-in/out times are empty; only start/end times are visible. This is a case where the member did not record work in real time but only registered the work graph in Work > My Work. |
Friday, April 24 | The member actually started work at 7:30 AM. However, the member edited the recognized work graph to set the start time as 7 AM, so the actual recorded time and recognized clock-in time are confirmed as 7:30 AM. |
