A Member Says They Can't Log In — What Should I Do?

Troubleshooting guide for member login issues: invitation status, expired emails, Google Workspace email changes, and already-registered email errors.

If a member says they can't log in, please check the following!

Checking Invitation Status

  • Go to the [Members] → [Invitation Status] tab to check the member's current invitation status.

    • After adding and inviting a member, you can see their current registration status here.

Invitation Status

Description

Not Yet Invited

The new member has been registered but you have not yet sent the invitation email. Click the More Options button on the right to send the invitation email.

Pending Join

The member has received the invitation email but has not yet clicked "Accept Invitation" in the email. Ask them to accept and proceed with registration.

Entering Info

The member has clicked "Accept Invitation" in the invitation email and is currently entering their registration info. While entering info, the member can log in with their email and the password they set.

Google Workspace ID Changed Without Updating in flex

  • Even if the company email has changed, the email registered in flex serves as the login ID — a separate update is required! Only the member themselves can make this change.

    • Click the company profile in the top left of flex → [My Settings] → [Change Email].


FAQ

The member says the invitation email has expired.

The invitation email sent to members is valid for 7 days!

If more than 7 days have passed since the invitation was sent, click More Options and select Resend Invitation Email.

The invitation email has expired but re-sending doesn't work.

This means the member already clicked "Accept Invitation" but did not finish entering their information within the deadline, so the email expired. In this case, since the account has already been created, they can log in by visiting the flex homepage and clicking [Login] in the top right. Please share this link with the member so they can proceed!

It says the email is already registered.

Occasionally, a member may search for flex on the internet and sign up with their company account directly, without checking the invitation email sent by the administrator. In this case, the incorrectly created account needs to be deleted — please contact us via chat. Once flex deletes the incorrectly registered account, the administrator can re-register and invite the member using that email address.
