Compensatory leave includes overtime hours that are still pending approval. Before approving compensatory leave, please check via the Daily Work Report that the daily work records have been fully approved. Compensatory leave may be granted even for unapproved records.
If you are using the flex payroll settlement feature, overtime hours for which compensatory leave has been granted will be automatically excluded from overtime pay during payroll settlement.
What is Compensatory Leave?
Compensatory leave is a system that compensates employees with paid leave instead of wages by adding up overtime hours worked during extended, night, or holiday work. Instead of paying an amount added to the regular wage for overtime, an equivalent amount of leave time is granted.

Individual Compensatory Leave Grant per Member
When compensatory leave is granted, attendance records within the work period queried by the administrator are 'locked' to prevent modification.
If attendance records for the period in which compensatory leave was granted need to be modified, please revoke the granted compensatory leave, make the attendance corrections, and then re-grant the compensatory leave.
Additionally, after compensatory leave is granted, approvers cannot reject unapproved records (work, leave), and members also cannot cancel work or leave approval requests.
If rejection of work or leave approval is required, the granted compensatory leave must be revoked first, then the approval rejected, and then compensatory leave re-granted.
Click [Grant] in the compensatory leave grant list to individually grant compensatory leave.
Enabling [As much as possible] grants the entire grantable hours regardless of overtime category.
Disabling [As much as possible] allows you to view the detailed overtime breakdown and grant leave for specific categories only. (e.g., grant compensatory leave only for extended overtime)

Can't we grant more leave than the grantable compensatory leave hours?
The hours shown as grantable compensatory leave hours are calculated by automatically computing each member's overtime hours recorded in flex, their types, and the premium rates by type, and then automatically deducting each member's [all-inclusive hours]. Therefore, it is not possible to grant more leave than the grantable compensatory leave hours.
If you want to grant more leave than the grantable compensatory leave hours, we recommend creating a separate custom leave via Settings - Leave Settings - Add Custom Leave and granting it for management purposes.

When I try to grant compensatory leave, a notification saying [There are records pending approval within the query period] appears.
If you see a notification saying [There are records pending approval within the query period] when trying to grant compensatory leave, please check the following!
You must have queried the work period during which overtime occurred in order to grant compensatory leave. This notification may appear if there are still works in progress of approval during the queried work period.
If the administrator has granted compensatory leave (including pending approval overtime hours) but an approver such as a team leader has 'rejected' the overtime hours, the compensatory leave calculation result may differ.
Accordingly, before granting compensatory leave, it is recommended to check whether there are any pending work approvals and grant compensatory leave only after all approvals have been processed.
Administrators can click the Pending Approval card in Attendance Management - Attendance Dashboard to view work/leave records that are still in the approval process, and can send an approval reminder notification to approvers.

Is each member's all-inclusive contract hours taken into account when calculating and granting compensatory leave?
Is each member's all-inclusive contract hours taken into account when calculating and granting compensatory leave?
flex automatically calculates the grantable compensatory leave hours based on each member's work hours and all-inclusive contract hours currently registered in flex. That is, without any separate settings, if all-inclusive contract hours are entered in the wage contract information within the member's profile, and the member's work hours are recorded in flex, the calculation is as follows.
If Hong Gil-dong's all-inclusive contract is set to extended 12 hours (monthly) and the member actually worked 20 hours of overtime on a monthly basis, the grantable compensatory leave hours would be 2 hours.
20 hours - 18 hours (all-inclusive contracted 12 hours * 1.5 (extended premium rate)) = 2 hours
Where can members check when an administrator grants compensatory leave?
