When implementing reduced work hours for holidays, year-end/new year events, workshops, etc., you can manage it using the following methods.
Bulk Upload Work Records Method
Go to Settings > Work Policy and add a new work type.
(e.g., Work policy name — Reduced Hours)Employees record their work hours until the morning.
Then, an admin uses the bulk work record upload feature to record the afternoon work under the newly added 'Reduced Hours' work policy in Excel and uploads it.
By filling in the work records through bulk upload, the day will not be treated as insufficient work hours.
Method: Grant Custom Leave Then Register
Go to Settings > Custom Leave and create a new custom leave type.
(e.g., Leave name — Reduced Hours)Go to Attendance Management > Leave Management > Leave Balance tab, click the Grant Custom Leave button at the top right to bulk grant the custom leave to employees.
Once custom leave is bulk granted, announce the usage method company-wide.
After registering work for the morning, employees can use the granted custom leave for the reduced hours in the afternoon to fulfill their daily prescribed working hours.
