An organization chart goes beyond simply showing organizational structure, relationships, and relative hierarchy — it points to the deliberation and strategy behind how members can work together to achieve goals.
Understanding what our company's organization chart looks like is therefore important.
It helps you know what problems each organization is solving, what role you can play within it, and who in which organization you can turn to for help in solving problems.
flex has prepared a visual organization chart that you can see at a glance as an image so you can understand our company's structure, look in the same direction, and move forward together. Simply by maintaining up-to-date organization information in flex, you can update the latest organization chart and share it company-wide without any separate PowerPoint or Excel work. You can also view and download organization charts from past points in time as images.
[Company HR Information Management Permission] and [Company Organization Chart Trend View] permission are required.
Viewing the Organization Chart
The Visual Organization Chart can be found in [Members] → [Organization Chart].
You can see our organization's structure, organization heads by organization, and member count at a glance. Using the [control buttons at the bottom right], you can expand all organizations at once, fit to screen, or zoom in/out to your desired ratio.
Click the [More button] above each organization to View from this organization and see only a partial organization chart starting from a specific organization.
Regular members can check our company's organization chart anytime by clicking [Members] - [Organization Chart] on the left without needing any special permissions. However, unlike administrators with permissions, they cannot view sensitive information such as trend data, so you can rest assured.
Viewing Organization Profiles
Click each organization to view information related to that organization, including its members, organization head information, and team member analysis.
At the top, there is a space prepared for entering a team introduction about what our organization does, and for checking upcoming member events.
Click the [organization chart icon] to the right of the organization head information to view the approval line for that organization on the organization chart.
In team member analysis, you can check the member distribution by keywords such as job function and position.
Monthly member trends are only available to administrators.
Search, View Settings, Image Download
Click [Organization View] to select the organization chart sorting method and member count display format.
Click the [magnifying glass] at the top right to search for the desired organization. Click the search result to see where that organization is located on the organization chart.
Click [three dots] → [Download Image] to download the currently displayed organization chart.
It is provided as a png file without background for use anywhere, and only administrators with [Employment Information Management Permission] can download it.
Organization Trends
As organizations grow, it becomes harder to know where problems are starting within the organization.
Which organization is currently overloaded with work, which organization is not achieving results relative to investment,
which organization is having issues with member retention.
You could collect and calculate needed data through Excel, but it requires separate resources and capabilities for data management, and it is difficult to interpret data when the organizational hierarchy is not visible at a glance.
We have prepared a trend/filter feature that provides several indicators helpful for judging organizational performance and situation along with basic filters on the organization chart, so you can see organizational trends at a glance.
Click the [Trends] button at the top right of the organization chart tab to select indicators such as total contract salary, average goal achievement rate, member retention rate, average overtime, and average leave usage hours.
You can also view 2 or more indicators together.
Average goal achievement rate is only available when subscribed to performance management.
You need the [Company Organization Chart Trend View] permission to view this.
If it shows -, it may mean that no information (wage contract information, goals, etc.) has been entered.
You can examine things like:
e.g., Whether sufficient investment is being made in the business our team is currently focusing on
e.g., Whether the organizations that received investment are achieving their goals well
e.g., What the average overtime hours look like for organizations with low member retention rates
e.g., Which organizations have high overtime hours and heavy workloads
Organization Filters
Click [Add Filter] at the top left of the organization chart tab to set filters for job function, position, rank, and contract type.
You can examine things by combining filters:
Among [Filters], 'Rank' requires the [Employment Information Management Permission], and 'Employment Contract Type' requires the [Member Contract Information Management Permission] to filter.
e.g., How senior-level and above members are distributed across organizations
e.g., Whether engineers matching the level of problems the organization is solving are properly assigned
How to Use Organization Trends & Filters
Through the organization trends & filter features provided by flex, you can make various decisions. We especially suggest using these features before [organizational restructuring].
If you have organizational restructuring planned, click on the organization change records scheduled for a future date, and preview various filters and trends. You can predict in advance whether job functions and ranks are properly divided in the organizations planned for change and use this as reference during restructuring :)
Viewing Organization Chart Change History
Click [Organization Settings] → [Organization Chart Change History] to view our company's organization change history at a glance.
Check the scheduled organization chart and click [Edit Scheduled Changes] to modify the organization chart planned for change.

Viewing Past and Future Organization Charts
