Goal Usage Guide for Members

This is a guide for members to set personal goals aligned with organizational goals and update them.

You can manage goals to suit your purposes through various settings such as period, visibility scope, and view options.

Creating and Editing Personal Goals

Create new personal goals linked to organizational goals, or goals that you are directly responsible for.

Members can only create and manage 'My Goals.'

  • Click [Create Goal] at the top right of the goal screen.

  • Check the detailed content for creating a goal and enter it according to the goal.

    • First, enter the basic information for the goal.

Click the toggle (▶︎) to view descriptions for each item

  • Goal Title: Please enter the title of the goal.

  • Owner: This refers to the entity responsible for the goal. It cannot be changed to another member.

  • Participating Members: If there are participating members besides the responsible member, please add them. Multiple selections are possible, and participating members can update and edit the goal and receive notifications related to the goal.

  • Cycle: Select the goal's cycle or enter the applicable period. If needed, you can manually enter a period different from the default cycle.

  • Parent Goal: If the goal has a parent goal, please select it.

  • Goal Description: Please enter the goal's description. Click the file icon at the bottom right of the input field to attach reference files.

    • Please proceed with the settings for goal management.

  • Goal Metric Settings

    • Update Method: Please select how to update the goal.

      • Manual Input: Manually enter the goal metric directly.

      • Average Achievement Rate: Automatically calculated as the average achievement rate of sub-goals.

      • Sum of Values: Automatically calculated by adding all sub-goals with the same measurement unit.

      • Average of Values: Automatically calculated as the average value of sub-goals with the same measurement unit.

    • Measurement Unit: Please select the unit to measure the goal. You can set it as percentage, number, or currency (KRW, USD, JPY), and negative (minus) or decimal input is also possible.

  • Visibility Scope Settings

    • Public to All: Visible to all company members.

    • Public to Some: Visible to selected members. Participating members, and the organization heads of the owner and participating members are included by default and cannot be changed. Additionally, you can manually add all members of the owner's organization or individual members.

Editing and Deleting Goals

  • Select the goal to edit and click the three dots button at the top right.

    • You can change or disconnect the linked parent goal.

    • Click [Edit Goal] to edit the goal's detailed content.

    • Click [Delete Goal] to delete it. Note that deleted goals cannot be recovered, so please be careful.

    • Click [Add Goal] to create a new sub-goal or link an existing goal as a sub-goal.

Creating Goal Drafts

  • When creating a goal, click [Save as Draft] at the bottom to save upcoming goals as drafts.
    Goals created as drafts are only visible to the person who created them!

  • Saved goal drafts can be found by clicking [Goals] at the top right, then [Create Goal] - [Saved Goal Drafts].

  • On the [Saved Goal Drafts] screen, you can view goals saved as drafts.

    • Click the 3-dot button on the right to edit/duplicate/delete goals saved as drafts.

    • Click [New Goal] on the [Saved Goal Drafts] screen to create additional draft goals.

  • You can link draft goals in a parent-child hierarchy, or connect them with already created goals. If organizational goals have already been created, try creating draft goals linked to organizational goals and prepare personal goals aligned with organizational goals!

    • Once all preparations are complete, click the [Create Goal] button at the bottom to create the goals.

Duplicating Goals

  • If you want to create a new goal with similar content to an existing goal, click the 3-dot button on the right of the goal, then click the [Duplicate] button to duplicate the existing goal.

    • When duplicating a goal, all data from the original goal is copied identically, except for the goal's metrics and status, sub-goals, and activity history.

    • However, goal duplication can only be used by administrators, or if you are the owner of the goal being duplicated, or the organization head of the owner.

Exploring Goals

You can view the connected structure from company goals to my goals at a glance. Try checking goals conveniently through various filters and view item settings (show/hide)!

Viewing My Goals, All Goals, and Member Goals

  • On the goal screen, you can view goals divided into My Goals, All Goals, and Member Goals.

    • You can sort goals in ascending or descending order by title, creation date, or end date.

    • Or, you can manually click and drag goals to change the order.

      • However, when viewing [All] goals in the [All Goals] tab, manual reordering is not available.

      • Please note that the changed order is also applied to other members' screens!

    • You can select the goal cycle to view. Selection is possible within a maximum of 3 years.

  • My Goals

    • You can separately view personal goals where I am the owner and participating goals where I am included as a participating member.

  • All Goals

    • This refers to all goals in our company. Click the organization selection button at the top right to view by desired organization. Use the various options to conveniently view goals. (In the image below, this refers to the 'All' button.)

      • Quick Select - [All]: Select this when viewing all goals in the company.

      • Quick Select - [Organization]: Select this when you want to quickly check the organization you belong to. Sub-organizations are also included.

      • View by Organization - [Organization]: Select this when you want to view all goals of a specific organization. Selection is possible by individual organization unit, and sub-organizations are also included.

    • Goals are basically connected in a parent-child hierarchy, so you can grasp the structure at a glance. Click the triangle (▶︎) on the left of a parent goal to view connected goals.

  • Member Goals

    • You can view goals that each member is responsible for or participating in.

    • Click the member selection button at the top right to select the desired organization or member unit. By default, the organization you belong to is selected. (In the image below, this refers to the 'Sales Team A' button.)

    • Click [All] in Quick Select to view all members, or select a specific member to view individually.

Setting Filters

  • You can add filters to view goals with desired conditions. Configured filters are automatically saved and maintained even when you navigate to another page.

    • Owner: You can select by company, organization, or member unit. Up to 5 organizations are displayed, and you can search for the desired organization.

    • Participating Members: You can select by member unit. Multiple selections are possible.

    • Start Date, End Date, Last Update: View by selecting before or after a specific date, the same date, or a date range.

    • Progress Status: For goals in progress, view by Good, Difficult, At Risk, or No Status. For completed goals, view by Achieved, Not Achieved, or Cancelled.

Setting View Items

  • Click the adjustment icon at the top right to configure view items.

    • Progress Status and Owner are information shown by default.

    • Cycle, Participating Members, Start Date, End Date, and Last Update can be hidden or shown by clicking the eye icon on the right.

      • Or click Hide All or Show All to configure in bulk.

    • If you want to change the display order of information (sort order), click and move the desired information. It will be displayed in the order you prefer.

Goal Updates

Try updating your goals directly! Members can only manage personal or participating goals.

Goal updates can also be done by participating members and the organization head of the owner, in addition to the owner.

  • Update the current metrics and progress status through status updates, and leave records through comments.

FAQ

What are the limits for goal title, goal description, and goal attachment file size?

  • The goal title can be up to 100 characters.

  • There is no separate character limit for the goal description.

  • The attachment file size that can be added to a goal is limited to 20MB.
