Getting Started with 1-on-1 Meetings provides guidance on 1-on-1 features and how to use them.
We'll guide you in detail on scheduling, history, action item management, and recommended question lists to help facilitate smooth 1-on-1s between team members and team leads.
Sending a 1-on-1 Request
You can request a 1-on-1 through three methods: the 1-on-1 menu, Send to Colleague, and Search.
Use [Send 1-on-1] from the 1-on-1 menu, or
Click [Send to Colleague] in the upper right of the [Home Feed] screen -> Click [Send 1-on-1] -> Fill in the participant, schedule, and request message, then click [Send 1-on-1].
Writing a Title/Content
Write about the background of why you requested the 1-on-1 and the topics you'd like to discuss!
Reading the topics the other person has written in advance and organizing your thoughts will help you use the time more efficiently.
All participants can collaboratively write the 1-on-1 content.
Using the Question List
If you're unsure what questions to ask in a 1-on-1, try using the question list.
We provide a variety of expert-curated questions by topic, so you can select questions that fit your situation.
Action Items
Use 1-on-1 action items as a tool to drive real change and growth for team members.
Drag a sentence written in the content and press the [Add Action Item] button to register it instantly!
After adding an action item, you can easily send it as a to-do so you don't forget.
Click [Request To-Do] shown on the action item to instantly send a to-do request.
When an action item is completed, check it off and record the results. This makes it easy to see which items helped resolve issues.
When marking an action item as complete, you can check it off and click "How were the results?" to record the status.
Participant Information
Team member information
In the information area on the right, you can view all helpful information for the 1-on-1 at once. You can check the team member's motivational factors, strengths, and areas of interest, as well as record private notes that only the team lead can view.
Need notes that only the team lead can see? Use the private notes feature.
Using Private Notes
Try using the private notes feature as follows:
* Notes about the team member's personal issues (burnout risk / difficulty focusing on work due to personal life)
* Topics for questions you want to bring up more naturally within context rather than preparing in advance
During a 1-on-1, you can review the participant's goals and past review results while conducting the meeting!
Sending 1-on-1 Feedback
Click [More] in the upper right of the content -> Click [Request 1-on-1 Feedback] to request feedback on whether this 1-on-1 helped sync up effectively.
When a 1-on-1 feedback request is sent, the team member can write their feedback from the to-do list.
